Bartłomiej Ślażyński specializes in litigation, banking law, insurance law, employment law, and commercial law. He represents Clients in court and arbitration disputes, as well as in proceedings before public administrative authorities and administrative courts.
Bartłomiej provides comprehensive, regular advice to foreign and domestic business entities.
From October 2000 to June 2004, Bartłomiej was with Norwich Union S.A./Sampo Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A. and Norwich Union Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. /Sampo Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. (now PKO Ubezpieczenia), where in 2003-2004 he was the Head of the Legal Department.
From July 2004 to March 2008, Bartłomiej worked in legal departments of Amplico Life Pierwszy Amerykańsko-Polskie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie i Reasekuracji S.A, AIG Asset Management (Polska) S.A., AIG Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A, a member of the AIG Group.
Since 2007, Bartłomiej has been running his independent legal practice. Between 2008 and 2010, he cooperated with Hogan Lovells within the team dealing with corporate, litigation, financial institutions, and employment law.
From July 2004 to March 2008, Bartłomiej worked in legal departments of Amplico Life Pierwszy Amerykańsko-Polskie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie i Reasekuracji S.A, AIG Asset Management (Polska) S.A., AIG Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A, a member of the AIG Group.
Since 2010, it has been cooperating with several insurance companies, both in the field of personal and property insurance.
Since 2018, Bartłomiej has cooperated with one of the banks with Polish capital representing it in litigation concerning foreign currency-indexed loan agreements, including CHF. We are currently handling court cases in this area on behalf of our bank Clients; in addition, for one of the leading banks in the Polish market, we are one of two law firms handling a CHF-denominated loan settlement program.
